MAUJA HI MAUJA
ON 19TH DEC'09 AT MAAC CHOWRINGHEE A STUDENT CULTURAL DRAMA "MAUJA HI MAUJA" WAS HELD.
AROUND 40 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN IT.
PERFORMANCE INCLUDED DANCE,DRAMA,SINGING,STAND-UP COMEDY AND 3 ROCK BAND PERFORMANCE.
IT WAS A GREAT EVENT AS STUDENTS ENJOYED A LOT IN THIS FESTIVE SEASON.

MAAC CHOWRINGHEE
On the occassion of "CHILDREN DAY" POT COMPETITION organised.
Many of the students participated activately............just to add that the ratio of girls was more than boys...........
All the participants were provided 4hrs to complete their work.
The winner of this competition was "SUBASISH MUKHERJEE"
And two joint runner up was "FAISAL SHAH" & "MOUMITA GOSWAMI"
MAAC - AIDS AWARENESS WALK
On the occasion of the World Aids Day (1-12-2009), MAAC CHOWRINGHEE, MAAC KAKURGACHI AND MAAC RASHBEHARI, the three Academies of MAYA ACADEMY OF ADVANCED CINEMATICS imparting training in the field of 3D ANIMATION AND VISUALS EFFECTS, under their Social Club, “MAAC – IN – TASK”, along with AIESEC (A youth run independent not for profit organization) organized an Awareness Walk with a motive of spreading awareness about AIDS and how to fight against it.
Around 250 Students of MAAC along with the participatants from AIESEC and Youth of Kolkata walked down from MAAC CHOWRINGHEE at Chatterjee International Centre to MAHATMA GANDHI Statue at ESPLANDE, and back, as a part of this event.During the walk, Students were distributing leaflets and speaking with the passersby to create general awareness of AIDS and its Preventions.
The event started off at around 11am and finish off at 12.30 pm.
